Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using TMS platforms, resolving delays proactively
- Liaise with warehouse teams, carriers, and clients to ensure timely delivery and exceptional service
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation for audit compliance
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with carriers to reduce costs
- Implement continuous improvements to shipping workflows and KPIs
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and system utilization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination within a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written/verbal communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Forklift certification a plus
