Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, rail, and sea carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices) with 100% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation Management)
- Resolve delivery delays through proactive carrier communication
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiation and route planning
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and export/import regulations
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in high-pressure environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; supply chain certification preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional site visits)
