Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory control and warehouse operations with real-time tracking systems
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs while meeting delivery deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, customs) for seamless operations
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze logistics KPIs and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Relevant certification (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
