Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize routing to minimize transit times and reduce freight costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and collaborate with customs authorities
- Build/maintain carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficient in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs regulations
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
