Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, scheduling, and carrier selection
- Track shipments proactively and resolve transit delays or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) and compliance records
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading and inventory management
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Communicate shipment status updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate rates for optimal logistics solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
- Experience with LTL, FTL, and international shipping methods
