Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Monitor shipment status proactively to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules and container utilization
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases in real-time
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies while maintaining service quality standards
- Build strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- FMCSA certification or Hazmat training a plus
