Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track freight status in real-time and resolve any delivery delays or issues with carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping data and inventory movements in our ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with internal warehouse teams and external carriers to ensure seamless operations.
- Review orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before shipment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
