Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping manifests, bills of lading, and tracking information.
- Analyze shipping costs and identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of customs documentation as required for international trade.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
