- Coordinate and track domestic/international shipments via air, rail, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms) with 99% accuracy
- Optimize freight routes to reduce transit times by 15%+
- Resolve shipment delays through proactive carrier communication
- Maintain inventory database with real-time tracking updates
- Collaborate with warehouse team for dock scheduling and load planning
- Analyze shipping KPIs and recommend process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- OSHA/FMCSA compliance knowledge
- Strong Excel skills with pivot table experience
- DOT hazmat certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Valid driver's license
