Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound freight to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Track shipments in real-time and troubleshoot logistics issues with carriers.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse storage and inventory organization to improve workflow efficiency.
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret shipping data and reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, during peak seasons.
