Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies using ERP systems
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts to minimize costs
- Track shipments proactively and resolve transit delays with stakeholders
- Prepare customs documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams for integrated logistics support
- Analyze shipping data to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in shipping coordination or logistics role
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and logistics software
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations and customs procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Certified in logistics management (CLM, CPL) or supply chain preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
