Your Mission:
As our Shipping Coordinator, you will be the bridge between our warehouse operations and our clients. You will ensure that every shipment leaves our facility on time, in the correct condition, and with the proper documentation. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their tasks and solves problems with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound freight shipments, ensuring alignment with delivery deadlines.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Commercial Invoices, and packing lists, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities, inventory levels, and tracking data in our logistics management system.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, or damages.
- Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates where possible to optimize supply chain costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and warehouse procedures during loading and unloading operations.
- Assist in inventory management by verifying incoming and outgoing stock accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
