Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve any delays or logistical issues.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding shipment status.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory movements.
- Optimize shipping routes and carrier selection to reduce costs while maintaining service levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
