Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor shipment status proactively, resolving delays and exceptions to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to align shipping priorities
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate favorable rates with carriers
- Maintain accurate shipment records and generate performance reports
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and export regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Forklift certification a plus
