Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Prepare and process customs documentation (Bills of Lading, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and collaborate with carriers on transit issues
- Optimize packaging solutions to reduce costs while ensuring cargo safety
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and hazardous material regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in high-volume environments
- Relevant certification (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Valid driver's license required
