Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Track incoming and outgoing freight to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistics issues or delays promptly.
- Manage inventory levels related to shipping departments and coordinate stock transfers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding shipment status and logistics updates.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and update our internal database systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
