Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including carrier selection, documentation, and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates to reduce transportation costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to align shipping schedules
- Implement continuous improvements in shipping processes and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LCL/FCL shipping, and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid forklift certification preferred
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
