Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize refrigerated products efficiently
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for perishable goods (-10°F to 40°F zones)
- Conduct inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Implement sanitation procedures to meet FDA and USDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Perform equipment maintenance checks and report operational issues
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines in refrigerated environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Successful background check and drug screening
