Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Assist with quality control and order fulfillment tasks
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
