As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and package merchandise according to customer orders using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, counting, and organizing incoming stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Shelving and Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace by ensuring products are shelved correctly and debris is removed.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and load trucks for delivery in a timely manner.
- General Labor: Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking orders and managing inventory.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license preferred (not always required for this specific role).
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
