Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute precise material handling with zero-damage inventory management
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional team for efficient dock operations and inventory control
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and documentation
- Implement FIFO/FEFO procedures for perishable goods handling
- Train new hires on warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (current and verifiable)
- 2+ years experience in warehouse distribution environments
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and RF scanners
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Forklift certification (sit-down/stand-up) required
