Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA regulations are strictly followed at all times.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments accurately using handheld scanners.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping and organizing pallets.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and inventory goals.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) with valid license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Proven track record of safety and reliability in a warehouse setting.
- Valid Driver's License (not always required but good to have).
