Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Ensure the safe and efficient organization of inventory to maximize storage space.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against paperwork.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
