Responsibilities
- Select and Verify: Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners.
- Pack and Prepare: Pack items securely into boxes, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure order accuracy before shipping.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse policies at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks safely to move stock.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the packing station organized and clean.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail-oriented work.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read pick tickets and perform basic calculations.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends if necessary.
