Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, locate, or relocate materials efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, railcars, or conveyor belts, ensuring proper handling.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to maintain a safe environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly at all times.
- Stock inventory and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA/ANSI) required.
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and ticketing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
