Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory
- Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with warehouse team to prioritize material flow and meet production deadlines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company inventory procedures
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments and staging products for distribution
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse environments
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse layouts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced teams
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with WMS systems preferred
