Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets and materials safely
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse organization standards
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Assist with training new team members on equipment operation
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred experience with WMS systems and RF scanning
