Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring all cargo is handled with care and accuracy.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator License (Counterbalance or Reach Truck preferred).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and documentation.
- Reliable transportation to the Detroit facility.
