Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products to and from trailers and storage racks.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and maintain proper inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies; conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment.
- Material Handling: Stack and organize pallets efficiently to maximize warehouse space utilization.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery tickets and logbooks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time shifts, including potential overtime.
