Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and yard settings
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Operate auxiliary equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-sponsored certification)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including overtime and weekend shifts
