Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move products.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate stock placement and inventory counts (Cycle Counts).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Load and unload trucks securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and material handling best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
