Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload palletized goods in warehouse settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Coordinate with warehouse team to prioritize and organize inventory efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Complete accurate inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and meet tight deadlines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent forklift experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Valid driver's license preferred
