Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (counterbalance, reach) to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and accurate documentation of shipments.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to coordinate logistics tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in varying temperatures.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but a plus).
