Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing stock counts and tagging items as needed.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient workflow during peak weekends.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 preferred or willing to obtain).
- Minimum 1 year of previous forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
