Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflow and efficiency
- Support cross-functional departments during peak operational periods
- Train on specialized equipment (reach trucks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible schedule availability (weekends, nights, overtime)
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug test clearance
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
