Responsibilities
- Select and prepare merchandise for shipment using order slips and scanners to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely in boxes, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred but training available).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the inventory supervisor immediately.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock organization to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for order accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team environment.
