Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Efficiently select and pack merchandise according to customer orders using handheld scanners and RF devices.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate counts and maintain inventory records to minimize errors and stock discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets quality standards before shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered industrial trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks as required by the shift.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipping, label packages accurately, and verify shipping documents.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
