Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and inventory levels in our ERP system.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics coordination.
- Strong knowledge of shipping terms (FOB, Incoterms) and freight processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
