Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory, ensuring all stock is organized and accessible.
- Load and Unload:** Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments while ensuring proper tagging and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and equipment inspection.
- Overtime Availability: Be willing and available to work overtime shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business demands require.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse aisles and staging areas.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflows and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time hours and willing to work overtime when scheduled.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license (for warehouse vehicle operation if required).
