Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-carrier freight shipments across domestic/international routes
- Optimize load planning and dock scheduling to maximize efficiency
- Manage customs documentation for cross-border shipments
- Resolve logistics disruptions through proactive carrier negotiations
- Maintain real-time shipment visibility via WMS/TMS systems
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless dock operations
- Analyze KPIs to reduce transportation costs and transit times
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder)
- OSHA/FMCSA compliance knowledge
- Expertise in Incoterms 2020 and customs brokerage
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem-solving
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- DOT hazmat certification preferred
