Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement
- Monitor and document humidity/temperature logs hourly
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management using RF scanners
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas daily
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment drug/background screen
- Food Handler's Certificate preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
