Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation in refrigerated/freezer facilities
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment following safety protocols
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products with attention to FIFO rotation
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all operations
- Maintain organized inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily distribution targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for equipment operation)
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper lifting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Preferable: 6+ months warehouse or cold storage experience
