Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Collaborate with team for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0-32°F)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
