Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move palletized goods into and out of freezers and coolers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and update stock management systems using RF scanners.
- Monitor storage conditions to ensure temperature logs are accurate and maintained.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents in cold environments.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and order fulfillment speed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures can drop significantly below freezing).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with forklift operation or warehouse equipment is highly preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license (Class C) is a plus.
