As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that perishable goods are stored, handled, and distributed efficiently and safely. We value hard work, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments in strict compliance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and organize stock to maintain precise records and warehouse flow.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and record storage temperatures regularly to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
- Packaging: Properly package and label products for shipping, ensuring damage-free transit and timely delivery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required due to our Paid Training program.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in cold environments.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced team environment.
