Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets of perishable goods into freezer and cooler units while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area to prevent product spoilage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in extreme cold conditions.
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 35°F to -10°F.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred but training available).
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
