Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Unload, sort, and palletize refrigerated/frozen goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP protocols during all handling procedures
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts in temperature-controlled environments
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance needs
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment following FDA guidelines
- Document temperature logs and inventory data using digital systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
