Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
- Manage inventory counts and accurately document warehouse transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company compliance standards
- Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support special projects requiring material handling expertise during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial forklifts in warehouse settings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work overtime shifts and weekends as required
