Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to organize and optimize storage space
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Accurately document inventory movements and report discrepancies
- Assist in unloading shipments and staging products efficiently
- Support cross-functional teams during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Preferable experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
