Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to prevent operational delays
- Manage inventory documentation and participate in cycle counts with 99.9% accuracy
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety best practices
- Support inventory control initiatives and quality assurance processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying temperature conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for overtime shifts
- Clean background check and drug-free workplace compliance
